How the Duo Roc 3 Flies

This is a straight-to-stable midrange that holds any line you put it on. It flies with minimal high-speed turn (0) and finishes with a reliable, moderate fade (3). It excels at:

• Controlled hyzer approaches
• Forehand flick shots
• Straight tunnel shots that need a dependable finish
• Windy conditions where you want predictability without excessive fade

It’s slightly more overstable than a classic Roc and a touch faster, making it a favorite for players who want a Roc-style feel with more versatility. Advanced players use it for controlled distance on tight fairways, while beginners appreciate how it resists turning over even on full-power throws.

Duo Plastic vs Star & Champion

Innova’s Duo plastic is a premium blend that sits right between Star and Champion:

• Compared to Star: Duo offers similar excellent grip in all conditions but with noticeably more durability and a slightly firmer, more consistent feel. It holds its flight characteristics longer than Star and resists scuffing better.
• Compared to Champion: Duo has better grip and a less “slick” feel than Champion while maintaining nearly the same durability. It’s more comfortable for players who prefer a bit of tackiness without sacrificing longevity.

Result: Duo gives you the best of both worlds — the grip and hand-feel of Star with the longevity and consistency of Champion.
